Spirit Ranch Wedding : Jed & Alicia
Jed & Alicia Lim’s Lubbock, Texas wedding was beautiful, filled with the beautiful scenery of Spirit Ranch and incredible family members surrounding this couple on their special day.
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph several weddings at Spirit Ranch and always love their venue and welcoming hospitality. I would certainly classify Spirit Ranch as a “Rustic West Texas” Style venue, so if that’s what you are looking for than check out their website below!
As a Wedding Photographer, one of my favorite parts of a wedding day is capturing the details of the day. Whether it’s a handwritten letter, generational jewelry, or a bridal bouquet, every bit of it is important to the story of a couples love story.
Alicia’s day was no different, she wore a beautiful golden family heirloom necklace to represent her heritage on her most special day.
Spirit Ranch has some of my favorite ceremony locations, and the evening spot near the Bridal House is certainly at the top of my list. With large beautiful trees stretching a canopy above the guests, this set-up no longer feels like you are in Lubbock, TX.
In the evening you can get incredible backlit ceremony light that was wonderfully on display here at the Lim wedding!
Your wedding day should be ENJOYED! I love wedding day couples sessions because it gives you a few extra minutes to really slow down and be present with each other. I love creating environments where authentic moments can happen organically without the need for strict & awkward posing.
Believe me when I tell you that this couple totally took advantage of their intimate session time and had an absolute blast! Jed & Alicia were so so much fun to hang out with after the ceremony and we all had an awesome time reflecting on the day up until that point!
Moving into the reception, Jed & Alicia decided that they wanted to take advantage of the cool September air and keep the party outside under the trees. Spirit Ranch has an incredible outdoor reception area and I LOVE the way the photos look! With the dance floor low-lit under the stars, it may be a challenge to photograph, but it is SO worth it!
With a beautiful sparkler exit, these two are off! I absolutely loved capturing this wedding for Jed & Alicia and can’t wait to head back to Spirit Ranch for more! Keep Scrolling for the full highlight gallery!
